Ant Invasion
Elon University’s Second Life island got its first mention in New World Notes (and in Boing Boing), before we even opened it up! Jotole Helios, an Elon professor, has been using the island as a “math playground” and has allowed builders at his former sandbox to test a few of their more interesting (and CPU-intensive) creations One of them, Tectonic Nabob, created an interesting simulation of ant behavior that drew some attention and a slew of visitors.
