Wind Dance

This piece was commissioned by the Penfield Music Commission Project. The work can be performed by a flute choir of wide ranging ability levels, from elementary school players to professional musicians, and is enjoyable to rehearse, perform, and listen to while still presenting rewarding challenges for all involved. 

It is scored for 12 flutes, 2 double on piccolo, marimba and timpani.
     Flutes A 3 parts = Professional Level
     Flutes B 3 parts = Advanced Level
     Flutes C 3 parts = Intermediate Level
     Flutes D 3 parts = Elementary Level

Wind Dance is published by Presser and Falls House Press. It was awarded an honorable mention in the 2001 NFA Newly-Published Music Competition. The score and performance parts are available at the link below.
