How to scan:

1. Make sure that the scanner is turned on.

2. Place the picture on the sweet spot around one third of the entire surface from the top.

3. To run Photoshop, click on the apple icon, move the cursor to Adobe Photoshop 7 and release it.

4. File/Import/Twaine Acquire

5. Choose 72 for Resolution and 24-bit Color (Std). Click Preview.

6. If somebody has already used the scanner before, you will see a warning that "Previewing the image again will lose all the current marquees and the associated settings." Click Preview.

You will see the prescanned image like the following:

7. Select the area to be scanned.

8. Click on Scan, you will see a photoshop image.

9. Select File/save under the folder you would like to keep in. In the dialog box, you need to choose the suffix of the file name as jpg and file format as JPEG. (This is critical) So the name should be something like baseball.jpg.
