APPLIED SOCIOLOGY
Consultant for the Comprehensive Rural Health Project in Jamkhed, India 1991-present.
Helped design Training Center, held seminars with staff concerning research methodology, helped found CRHP sister organization Global Community Health Foundation.
Project Evaluator, Alamance Coalition Against Drug Abuse, 1991-1996.
As project evaluator my duties involved both process and outcome evaluation of programs, directing Elon College student interns and providing research methodology advice for coalition members. A major county-wide telephone survey was conducted every summer as part of this project. Results were reported to coalition members and the Federal Center for Substance Abuse Prevention on a regular basis.
