At a public talk held in Second Life, Drew Frobozz unveiled the NASA CoLab (Collaboration Laboratory). The International Spaceflight Museum has agreed to develop the prototype island pro bono over the next two months. The facility follows my own blueprint for three islands: “Earth” for meetings between NASA employees and collaborators, “Moon” sandbox (seen above) for the public construction of new Second Life projects, and “Mars” for the development of more sophisticated long-term Second Life projects.
More details can be found at Drew’s site.
