To the extent that we become whole in our way of seeing and being, then
             our vision of oneness deepens -- we see the beauty of the whole and its parts,
             our ability to reconcile opposites increases -- and with it our love increases;
                     we reconcile time and growth -- the world in its unfolding -- with timelessness.

             We resituate ethics in a broader and deeper context.
                    We honor the sense of right-wrong needed to decrease suffering and respect all beings
                     and our deepest sense of justice arises from the cosmic laws of love and life.
             We discover the divine in the world and the world in the divine.

Questions:

        How can we bring more of heaven here on earth?

        How can these stages of "heaven on earth" become meaningful in our life?

        How can we re-enchant the world? How can our prayer life deepen?

        How can we come to see as GOD sees and to love as GOD loves -- in all that we do?

        The musical Godspell echoes the words of the English mystic William of Chichester:
                 "Day by day, day by day, O dear Lord three things I pray:
                    to see Thee more clearly,
                        love Thee more dearly,
                        follow Thee more nearly -- day by day."

Writer Beverly DiAngelis speaks of Real Moments as those which have:

                consciousness (attention to what presents itself),

                connection (we are already in the great web of life), and

                surrender (a receptivity to what is)

A Litany of the Heart (JGS):

        May the Great Love bring the joy of the MOON into my life -- so that,
            even in the midst of keeping and breaking commitments,
            I may experience a deeper trust beyond faith and doubt, a mysterious current
                carrying me toward the Whole.

            so  that I may dwell more easily in the unknown regions of the heart.

        May the Great Love bring the joy of the ZODIAC into my life -- aid me so that
            I may express and live out FAITH in the depth dimension of life, HOPE in its unfolding, and
            LOVE as its essential attributes.

        May the GREAT REVERSAL take root in me, letting me live more and more from a God-centered
            consciousness of the whole and all its parts -- knowing God is the circle whose center is everywhere
            and whose circumference nowhere.
