Research Interests

As an academic and an activist, my commitments lie in working on issues and problems of conflict, suffering, and strife in our world. In the current context of a globalizing world, my analysis of the rising inequality within and between countries alongside the dire predictions for our ecological future lead me to focus my work primarily on environmental and economic justice concerns. Peace and justice are inextricably linked and my work seeks to promote peace and justice through addressing concrete structural injustices that contribute to exploitation, disease, hunger, and conflict.
