I just finished teaching a Winter term course, Science Fiction as Cultural Studies. This Spring term I am teaching two new courses, The Internet, Society & Cyberculture and Writing, Rhetoric, and Interface Design. The last class is part of a new Multimedia Authoring Minor, an interdisciplinary program that draws on Computer Science, Digital Art, and Professional Writing & Rhetoric.

My current research interests include digital and information literacy in freshman composition, usability theories as a meta-discourse for rhetorical production, multimedia authoring, and wpa work as knowledge management.

Recently I've been experimenting with blogs, since I'll be using them in my upcoming courses.
