Jessie L. Moore is an Assistant Professor of English at Elon University. She coordinates College Writing (English 110), a required writing course in the General Studies first-year core, and the Professional Writing and Rhetoric undergraduate concentration in the English Major. In addition to teaching in these programs, she offers ENG 206: Introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), every fall, frequently works with students on undergraduate research or independent study in TESOL, and teaches in the Elon College Fellows Program.

Jessie was the founding chair-elect of the Second Language Writing Interest Section at TESOL and remains active as a past-chair. She also serves on the CCCC Committee on Second Language Writing and the Carolinas Writing Program Administrators Board.
