So what's up Doc?                 

Undergraduate Degree (BS) in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Presidency College, India.

Graduate Degree (PhD) in Economics with a concentration in International Trade and Industrial Organization from the University of Cincinnati, USA.

Taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH) and held a one year visiting Assistant Professor position at Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) and Kenyon College(Gambier, OH).

Joined  Elon College, NC in 1996 and has been been teaching classes in  MBA-Managerial Economics, Business Economics, International Trade and Finance, Women, Culture and Development, Economics of Women and International Economic Development.

Research Interests are in theoretical issues in International Trade and Industrial Organization with a focus on current trade problems facing developing countries such as infant industry exports facing brand name recognition problems, problems related to economic growth and intellectual property rights etc.

"Das" as she is known to most of her students was born in India and is married to John Clark (physicist/computer consultant) a native of Scotland, UK and has a 5 year old son Neil Clark who was born in Milwaukee, USA.
