As part of the Periclean Scholars Program, Laura Iannacone and Jenn Pierson conducted basic water quality studies on surface waters of Namibia. Along with water quality, our lab also investigated microbial assemblages (algal and bacterial populations) in these water bodies. Funding for this study was generously provided by a number of organizations, including the Elon University Center for Environmental Studies. |
